The owners of this stunning, contemporary home wanted to connect the open plan spaces, without losing a sense of the unique shape of the building. Consisting of several irregular shapes that converge in a central open plan living area, the unusual floorplan required careful consideration. Working with a team of local artisan craftspeople, we created an interior design as individual and bespoke as the building around it, and managed the project through to completion.
The large, open area is fully tiled and surrounded by glass on two sides; curved shapes, soft fabrics and luxurious drapes create a more relaxed feel.
Bespoke pieces of furniture and commissioned art feature in every room. Handmade curved sofas were designed for the living area to soften the angles of the building, whilst an oversized bespoke rug adds warmth.
A large bespoke mirror, designed to fit one of only two expanses of wall in the living area, makes a bold statement with its dark walnut finish.
Soft furnishings in vibrant colours add a splash of personality to the otherwise neutral scheme, and bespoke furniture and accessories in the bedrooms are both practical and stylish.
