The Interior Design Practice was asked to breathe new life into the popular function suite in Staffordshire and explore the opportunities to engage and enhance the experience for both staff and customers.

The goal was to create a space that catered to a broad clientele creating a vibrant, sociable atmosphere. From the onset our aim was to create a sophisticated neutral scheme with warmth through copper tones that also offered a luxurious feel, resulting in a venue that can cater for a variety of functions.

Our design focused on positioning a feature bar, set against raw black metal gantry, with planting weaved throughout to add softness. New feature lighting helped generate inviting spaces throughout the suite and helped seamlessly transition between day and night functions.

Outside, the terrace provided an opportunity to engage a space that was ordinarily not accessible or hidden separate to the suite. Soft seating and structural box hedge planting, along with industrial lighting, successfully transitioned the scheme extended from the main suite.

The project’s success means the design will secure the future of the venue and provide an opportunity to encourage a versatile offering for many functions, for many years to come.
