Salts Healthcare is one of the UK’s oldest, family-run companies that has grown to become a highly successful international medical device manufacturer. Operating from headquarters in Birmingham, IDP was tasked in creating a new environment that transformed its manufacturing area into a space that can host showcase events, provide meeting spaces, and a venue that inspires true human connection.
The project was an opportunity to embrace their culture, support their focus on creating a new environment, accommodate their need to attract existing and new clients to launch events, and be a destination for all staff. Capturing the essence of Salts Healthcare, IDP created a timeless, durable design with a neutral colour palette and seamless visual connections between each work setting and space.
IDP worked with Salts to create a design that encapsulated their business goals, establishing a collection of spaces enabling the Salts teams to connect and collaborate at destination points throughout their new environment. Their space featured a new main entrance, fully catered canteen, a new boardroom/ meeting rooms and a collaboration area flexible to showcase events throughout the year.
